  Fine Italian dining in Mississauga. Great atmosphere. Great food. Friendly staff. Rumor has it that this place will be closing down in a year and they're not sure whether they will reopen. Due to that I highly recommend dining here while they are still around because once they're gone, you'll never get to experience everything that is piatto bistro.

  I have to say this place is great. Had the opportunity to finally try this place after driving by it many times. My girlfriend and I celebrated her birthday there and our waiter Patrick went above and beyond to make her night special. The combination of food quality and service quality makes this place a 10/10. This is the go to Italian restaurant if you are in the West end of the GTA.

  Went here on a Tuesday night. It wasn't too busy but there was a considerable amount of people. My initial reaction when walking in was how romantic and intimate it was. The lighting and rustic feel definitely set the mood. Definitely a place to bring your date or SO to.
  
  The food was great and was filling. Great wine selection. The portion sizes were perfect. And the service was quick and excellent. Friendly and inviting staff who knows their stuff. They really know how to time their dishes.
  
  As an FYI, reservations are recommended.

  The service here is excellent, they take the time to explain all menu items match wines. I joked to the server that the bread was so good we'd like to take a loaf home. He said I believe I have one for you. My wife said he is joking and the waiter says " Be careful what you say- this is Piatto- we make sure you are happy!" My wife had the pasta and said every bite was delicious. I had the veal chop with honey mushroom sauce- amazing! Our waiter arranged risotto instead of potatoes- wow what a great choice that was! Even the post dinner grappa was excellent, very smooth. We highly recommend Piatto to anyone that likes real Italian food.
