  Best Filipino food in town! Way better than any Filipino restaurants I've ever tried before. Terry Fox location is super busy on the weekends so get there early before all the food is gone!

  I've gone to Something Sweet several times. Their Banana Turon is the best I've had! My family and clients can't stop eating them! The turon is coated nicely with a light golden caramelized sugar and is so crunchy yet surprisingly not overly sweet. Their barbecue is good as well although I wish it were grilled over charcoal than gas. I recommended them to my niece for her Dress Rehearsal Dinner last September 16 and everyone enjoyed the turon, pancit and empanada. Their turon is only 2 for a dollar, very good size, and is a real winner compared to other places that charge $1 to $2 a piece. It's worth a visit even for just the turon!
