  Was there tonight Saturday June 17th around 9 pm. Had the rudest experience by the short haired girl with attitude. I was there with a couple who just arrived from Columbia. She rolled her eyes at us , I guess we were not ordering fast enough for her.
  Never again will I visit this location!

  This place is for studying/work. Everything is your standard run of the mill second cup. It can get pretty cramped though during rush hours!

  Visited this place because the nearby Starbucks had already closed. Ordered 2 cold beverages for around $10 and also requested a glass of water (while ordering). The server handed me the beverages so I reminded her that I had also asked for water. She then proceeded to fill up a porcelain (for here) mug with water. I stopped her and requested that I need it "to go" in a plastic cup (just like my beverages). She hesitantly filled up a plastic cup with tap water and basically threw it into my face without a lid, while murmuring that "we aren't allowed to".
  
  I've worked in a fast-food or quick-service joint myself. Sure the franchisee is a cheap bastard trying to pinch pennies but I always used my brain and gave the customer a cup of water!
  
  Bottom line: stick to Starbucks or find a Tim Horton's. Let Second Cup save the penny on a plastic lid or a nickel on a plastic cup. This poor customer service explains why they've almost been chased out of business by Starbucks and Timmy's.

  Went there with my boyfriend on a saturday evening around 10:45 pm.. thinking they would close at 12 am. So we buy our cake and coffee and are about to sit down, I overhear a couple saying "don't they close at 11pm". I got a little worried and double checked. And what happens? They decide to close an hour early. I tried to explain the lady that the website says 12 am and that we bought our dessert already and that they should have told us when we were buying it and decided to have it to there and not to go. One of the second cup workers just laughed and the other one nicely apologized and said its the managers responsibility to update it but the way she was saying it, it looked like she was just making it up to get rid of me. At that poiny I didnt really care whos fault it is. I was expecting some heads up atleast when I bought my dessert. I could have gone somewhere else and saved all this nonsense. Now I was stuck with cake and coffee with nowhere to go. Totally dissapointed!!!!!!!

  rude service by the owner becky. i was there on weekday during the day time. the owner was very rude and gave bad service. i would not go here. second cup needs to find better owners. i come here every day. all the staff are nice. the owner becky is the worst human being i seen.
