  The moment I stepped in I liked the place. The hosts, the design, and the atmosphere were very welcoming. The Mediterranean omelet that I ordered was also very good. They were willing to make any substitutes that I asked for. Will definitely go back. Oh and the price was also very reasonable.

  This is a great place to meet up with friends for a meal or just coffee and dessert. I love their broccoli and cheddar soup, it's so good. They have a huge all day breakfast menu too and their prices are very reasonable.

  We decided to take my mom out for a Mothers Day lunch . Our first time being there. Food was delicious, service was amazing and the atmosphere was nice. Would definitely go back there.

  I'd like to bring forth a concern and unpleasant experience I had in one of your Dundas franchise location. The first time when I had my family attend, we had no issues until our second time around when our whole experience was flipped upside down.
  
  Our first time around, the staff had allowed us to bring our pet into the patio area (albeit perhaps because it was by the bar area closer to the parking lot) and the staff didn't find any disturbance. The second time around with a bigger group and same with our dog, the staff was unsure of the policy with pets. The first staff told us that we were okay to bring our dog then as we sat down and settled - a second staff told us that we were not able to bring our dog with us as it is a health concern. The staff asked us to leave in which I presented a solution if we were to tie the dog against the patio railing on the outskirts of the restaurant - would that suffice? The staff told me it was okay in that sense. For a customer to have to think of a solution to the problem than outright forcing a customer to leave and not doing the business remains a mystery to me but goes out to say about their customer service analytical thinking skills in addressing issues.
  
  Further to that, the outdoor patio service in terms of wait times to even get served took an extremely long time. For a good 15-20 minutes, our server (whom we didn't know at the time was) did not attend us. A waiter was serving another table and so happened to walked by us and asked if we were doing okay casually. I told him that we were doing good and that we were also ready to order - the waiter passive aggressively told me in a sarcastic and condescending tone that "Well I am not your server", flapped his arms onto his side, and walked away. I was left appalled embarrassed in front of my family and in the public that a waiter just walked away from me because I apparently offended him "mistaking" him to be our server. I expected that if he was not our server, he would have the decency to inform us that he would come to get our server for us.
  
  In about 10 minutes after the 15 minute water (total 25 minutes), we had our waitress come to take our order. Things weren't all that bad at this point until we got one of our 10oz steak served. The steak looked odd as if it came out of a model display case - looking like it was plastic food. After a couple bites, it was clear that this steak was left overcooked, heated on top of the grill, and was left unattended for quite some time. We told the waitress that we wanted a new steak as this one was overcooked in which the second steak that came by was the difference between Heaven and Earth.
  
  Overall, my experience has been extremely unpleasant since the get-go with the slow service, snarky attitude, dismissive atmosphere, and quite to say - sub-par customer service. I sincerely hope that this concern can be addressed in the future because for the price that customer's pay on the menu offerings in comparison to the customer service treatment that they receive - there is a huge variance and gap to make any of these justifications make any sense.

  Took my mother in law out to lunch on mothers day and it's been over an hour since we ordered. What can I say? The juices were not bad. The stars are for the nice weather.
